This game was an obvious TMNT rip off. I mean it just was, but it turned out to be one of the best NES games ever made. The artwork and music is some of the best on the NES.

6:25 was always my favorite. The absolutely haunting yet beautiful feel of it.. and the ending refrain before it loops again, I mean not many "real" songs let alone an NES song can do that. What a sound track!

The only theme that slipped my memory when I rediscovered this game nearly 11 years ago was the Egypt Castle. The memories of not knowing the order of the bosses to defeat. Someone lost the manual and the video store ordered the guide to paste on to the rental box, so that took the guesswork out the second time around.

I feel like its impossible to not be into old rpgs and not have a different favorite song from final fantasy 3. Its hard for me to believe that anyone's favorite wouldn't be let me know the truth. thats just such a good fucking song. chills every time.
